This artwork was actually inspired by an art trade with the lovely ~
Mamadrae. She wrote me such a wonderful tale about my Diablo rogue character that I couldn't help but to make this art bunny.
The scene takes place after
Lord of Destruction. Baal has been defeated, but the heroine suffered a fatal wound, and so Tyrael appears to comfort her while she dies.
I have always been a huuuuuuge Diablo fan, and since Tyrael is one of my all-time favourite NSCs, I always wanted to make an artwork of him... but only now I felt that my skills are good enough to give it a try.
