This work was somewhat inspired by wanting to do an emotional piece of Bishop art and writing the end of my NWN2 fanfic 'Of Mice and Men' and shows said ranger, dealing with the aftermath of that story.
First, I was quite pleased with the result... but then I looked at it again from my internet PC, which has a much brighter monitor, and now I fear that it will just look like crap.
Oh, but I think this is gorgeous. It is dark, but I quite like that...it means I can see just enough detail in his expression and stance to know he's having some terrible emotional battle, but I'm left guessing as to the atmosphere around him. It's like he's sitting up in the middle of the night, not caring that it's dark all around him.
You make me feel so sad for Bishop. I find it hard to dislike him for everything he put Lily through.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Well it's very dark, a little too dark for me to see much, unfortunately.

Did you tell him it was the Lord's chips?
On my own PC, it looks sufficiently dark to fit the mood, but on the internet PC, it's much too bright... and on your screen, it seems to be too dark.
It will be interesting to see what others say, so that in the future, I can keep their comments in mind while setting up a scene.
Many thanks for your reply!
very sad one(( But still awesome!
