This artwork was inspired by one of my favourite characters from Kaori Yuki's manga Angel Sanctuary - Sevothtarte, the White Angel.
One of the Seraphim, and the dark power behind Metatron's throne. Leader of the High Council of Heaven, cold, determined, effective... and cruel. Gods, did I hate the ending of his story arc.  But I think his character design was simply divine, so I really wanted to make a render of him. I found this wonderful Cathedral Creation Kit for Poser, and can honestly say that I love it - wonderful tool, and once again, the little details took me forever... but I hope you like the result! your new way of rendering hair is totally neat, girl!
the composition here is very good, there is just one thing that bothers me... the contrast between the surrounding and the character is way too high...I mean I see the ponit since he is the white angel, but thats just too dramatic, maybe more dust or some extra light source in the curch...
