FANTASY SCI-FI FUSION CONTEST

ZIGGING WITH ZBRUSH
I never thought this day would actually come, but I got off my lazy butt and created my first 3D objects in Zbrush.

I have so little time for my hobbies that I always shied away from learning a new software and still sticked with Poser for creating my art, but I finally reached such a critical mass of frustration with Poser's creative limitations that I really sat down and got things going – and now it will take me forever to create new works because I completely loose myself in designing all the details.

I want to combine my old *and* new 3D  with my painting skills in the future, and I hope that I can show you the first results of my Zbrush activities soon. I really hope that I'll look back at this day in a year or so and laugh because it was so easy to learn all the new stuff, but who knows? Keep your fingers crossed!

SUMMER
This is completely random, but I absolutely love the summer this year!
It's the first time in what feels like years that we have some warm, sunny days here in a row, and I enjoy the heat immensely. The weekend cannot come soon enough!

is a digital painter with great skill and a love for Diablo and Starcraft (among other things) – I seem to recruit a lot of my featured artist amongst my favourite fandoms.
I only chose a few artworks here, but his whole gallery is amazing and inspiring, so - I can only highly recommend to follow the link and take a look!

CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT
The lovely and started a contest – “A Familiar affair”, and just like the title suggests you are supposed to picture yourself with a familiar (animal spirit) of your choice!
