Finally!

I have worked on this artwork like mad for the past two weeks, and I'm proud to say that it does not only contain my first 3D objects created with Zbrush, but is also the one with my most extensive digital painting as to date.

It all started with the monthly challenge over at - the last theme was 'Sorcerer', and the moment I read the word this very art bunny hopped onto my lap:

A dark skinned sorcerer, summoning a desire demon, because two hunks are always better than one.

So after my vacation, I immediately wanted to start working on it - only to get highly frustrated with the stuff Poser had to offer. I wanted the demon to look like an upper class creature and had that idea for a nice headgear to show its advanced status, only to realise that I would never get what I was looking for.

I should thank that bunny, for it finally got me off my lazy a** and to start working with Zbrush, and I am happy to announce that I created the horns, the tiara and many other pieces of jewellery here with that program all by myself, and then added the last touches in Photoshop.

Of course that took me so long that the contest by now is long over, but it was well worth all the work, and I hope you like it!
