Of Lilies and Thorns

Let me tell you a little a story:

A few years ago there were two fangirls, immensely enjoying a RPG called Neverwinter Nights 2, and mainly because of one of the companions available in the game - Bishop, a chaotic evil ranger.

The fangirls searched the web far and wide for stories to nurture their obsession, and it so happened that these fangirls met in one of the many fan communities one day and were thrilled when they realised how much they had in common, and that they really enjoyed each others tales.

So the girls decided to write a story together, and out of their enthusiasm the idea for Of Mice and Men was born, a Neverwinter Nights fanfic that centered around said Bishop and their original character, a young girl named Liliana.

Those of you who are watching me here on dA for a while already know that one of these girls is me and the other one my good friend ~fuxfell. It has been over two years now that Of Mice and Men was finished, but we always knew that we wanted to tell more about Bishop and our little mouse... and I am happy to announce that we are still working eagerly on the sequel which we decided to name Of Lilies and Thorns. 2/3 of the sequel are already done, so we are positive that we can start posting it some time this summer!

On a more artsy note - I really wanted this piece to look like a book cover, and I am proud to say that it turned out exactly as I imagined it. It has been such a long while since I worked with Bishop and the mouse, and it felt a bit like coming home.
