First of all, I want to congratulate Chrono25 :iconchrono25: for being my 100th watcher. :w00t:

It's absolutely amazing that so many people do like my art, and come here to fav and comment my renders, so - you have no idea how grateful I am to all of you, and how happy your support makes me! :blowkiss:

But now, I need your help: :D

Since I have discovered that all this render-artwork-making has developed into a real hobby, I am thinking about pimping my PC and equipment. :devilish:

So my questions to all you prolific people are:

- What software do you use for your artwork, especially your postwork? Is it easy to learn?

- Does anyone of you have experience with Bryce? I definitely want to create my own background settings and landscapes in the future, so I was wondering who of you has experience with this kind of software (like Vue or Carrara), and whether you can import your Poser figures into these programs and vice versa.

That's it for now. :rose:
Have a wonderful weekend, and take care!

Featured Artist

This week, I want to introduce to to an artist I have only recently discovered here at DA: :iconauroka: . She's making the most fascinating paintings and photos, and I think her art definitely deserves more attention, so take a look at some of my favourites from her remarkable gallery:

From my Favourites - Portraits

There's something very powerful about faces. One look into the eyes of a person, and you're getting a feel for them, trying to read them, to figure them out.
For that reason, I've always been very fond of character portraits, and thought to share some of my favourites with you. Enjoy! :icondweebdanceplz:

Literature

:iconrevenantsoul:
How It Should Have BeenThe breaking dawn had never been so cold.
Even as the warmth washed across her face, chasing away the shadows that she had just defeated, she felt as if she had truly taken all the falling rock onto her shoulders. That, or it now sat firmly on her chest, over her heart, creating an ache that was simply unbearable.
The dawn should signify some form of victory, she supposed, an aesthetic and poetic salute by nature for the feat that she had just accomplished, turning back the night as she herself turned back the King of Shadows.
Why, then, did she feel like she lost?
If such was the cost of victory, she never wanted to know defeat.
Her entire body felt heavy, weary, every ache and pain boring through her mind until she found it hard to concentrate. She was spelled out, run dry, she couldn’t draw her blades to break a seal on a missive let alone defend herself from any attack. Her muscles had reduced to water, her joins stiff like ancient iron and she felt she weighed as much as an i

Emoticons

Some of you might have noticed that I'm very fond of all these sweet emoticons one can find here at DA. There are some that are simply hilarious, but can almost never be used in a normal conversation, so - they are getting a column of their own.

This week, we'll handle things a little differently. :D By mere chance, I stumbled across :iconguyflash: , and he has the most amazing little emots in his gallery, so - here we go: :rose:
